Pachitla Creek Plantation
Southeastern Farm Brokers recently had the pleasure of handling the sale and purchase of 1,463 acres in Calhoun County known as Pachitla Creek Plantation.
Pachitla Creek Plantation was managed as a timber tract for nearly three decades, and a wildlife sanctuary for nearly two decades. This plantation traded hands two years ago, and the timber was thinned, revealing the potential of Pachitla Creek Plantation to be one of the absolute best all-around plantations in the Albany plantation belt.
This farm borders its namesake, Pachitla Creek, with over a mile of high bluff frontage. With the natural topography, hardwood fingers, and creeks separating upland pines, Pachitla Creek Plantation is naturally divided into multiple quail courses. The previous owner ran a conservative commercial bow hunting operation, revealing to many the phenomenal deer found in this area.
Congratulations to the new owners. What an incredible legacy property to pass on to future generations.
