Faircloth Holdings

Southeastern Farm Brokers recently had the pleasure of representing the sale and purchase of 104 acres of the Faircloth Holdings in Calhoun County.

This tract contains a healthy stand of planted long leaf pine timer, hardwood timber, and frontage on both sides of Merrett Creek. For 104 acres this tract contains a robust history with remains of a grist mill located on Merrett Creek, a shooting range that trained and qualified numerous Sheriff’s deputies, a short-lived dirt race track, and at one time ownership by the MLB extra inning strikeout record holder (21 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched).
